Building a Human-Centred Data Future
Our Mission
The DHA Foundation is the custodian of the DHA Protocol (DHAP) for the benefit of humanity. The foundation ensures DHAP remains an open protocol dedicated to the principles of unhindered access, and committed to empowering every individual and community - to deliver on the foundations purpose of protecting and advancing human life and human agency.
Our work focuses on developing and promoting the Decentralised Human Architecture Protocol (DHAP) - an open protocol that advantages aligned business models, economic systems, and organisations that prioritise human welfare over profit extraction.
Human-First Design
Every decision we make prioritises human agency, well-being, and empowerment over technological complexity or corporate interests.
Open Standards
We develop transparent, collaborative protocols secured by shared trust in standards rather than misplaced trust in institutions.
Decentralised Future
We're building infrastructure that distributes power and control, ensuring no single entity can dominate our digital lives.
Our Vision
We Are Creating a Future Where
Code is Law, and Law is Open
The foundational rules of our digital interactions should be transparent, verifiable, and open to all. No hidden algorithms, no secret back-doors. The source code is the constitution, freely available for inspection, modification, and improvement.
Decentralisation Empowers People
Power should be distributed among communities, not concentrated in the hands of a few corporations or governments. Decentralised systems ensure that control remains with the people who use them.
Freedom to Innovate is Non-Negotiable
Innovation thrives when barriers are removed. Open protocols and standards create a level playing field where the best ideas can emerge from anywhere, unencumbered by gatekeepers or artificial restrictions.
Community is the Cornerstone
Strong communities are the foundation of resilient systems. When people come together around shared values and common goals, they create networks that are more robust and beneficial than any centralised alternative.
Accessibility is a Right, Not a Privilege
Digital infrastructure should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their economic status, geographic location, or technical expertise. Universal access to information and tools is essential for human flourishing.
Security & Reliability are Paramount
Trust in digital systems requires robust security and unwavering reliability. Systems must be designed to protect user data, resist attacks, and maintain service even under adverse conditions.

Meet the people building the future of human-centred technology

Lucy Arrowsmith
I develop new processes for understanding and managing information in all its forms. My work explores how information evolves, morphs, and is constructed over time, while ensuring it remains secure and always under the ownership of the individual.

Ty Grupel
I apply my crypto-native understanding of decentralised open source protocols, tokenomics modelling (mechanism design) and the crypto sector's value chains to architect the web3 layers of DHAF/DHAP.

Laura Worger
I bridge the gap between technical development and human needs, ensuring DHA Protocol implementations remain accessible and user-focused. I coordinate teams to deliver products that prioritise human agency over technical complexity.

Quinten van der Leest
I am a specialist in designing and managing intelligent systems that transform how knowledge is structured, retrieved, and reasoned about. As Manager of Semantics Intelligence, I bring deep expertise in agentic flows, graph-based data models, and vector representations of data, implemented through scalable architectures.

Inji Wijegunaratne
I am a consultant working with the DHAP team, contributing to the development of DHAP's Enterprise Architecture, their foundational papers in Information Physics and re-conceptualising Architecture. I have over 30 years' experience as an Enterprise Architect, and hold academic credentials including a PhD from the University of London.
